Common Mistakes

• Ordering the wrong pack. Our two fountains take different cartridges. Check which fountain you own before adding to cart.
• Rinsing and reusing an old cartridge. The carbon layer saturates; rinsing clears the surface but not the capacity.
• Running the pump without a filter. Debris reaches the impeller and shortens the motor's life.
• Waiting for visible dirt. A filter is spent long before it looks dirty — go by the calendar, not the colour.
