Two dogs, two leads, one hand, and a knot by the second corner

Anyone who walks two dogs knows the move: swapping the leads over your head every time the dogs cross. This is one handle with two independent retractable lines. Each has its own lock button, so you can stop one dog at a kerb while the other keeps sniffing, and the connector swivels a full circle - when they cross, the lines untwist instead of braiding.

There is a torch in the handle for the winter walk home, and a slot underneath that holds a roll of waste bags so you stop finding them at the bottom of a coat pocket.

  • Two lines, one handle - both dogs on one hand, so the other stays free for a phone, a coffee or a gate.
  • Separate brake for each line - one button per dog. Stop the puller without dragging the one that is behaving.

Common Mistakes

  • Expecting batteries in the box - the torch needs 2 x AAA and they are not included. Have a pair ready or the light is dead on arrival.
  • Using it on two strong pullers - this is built for small and medium dogs walked side by side. Two large dogs that lunge in opposite directions need two separate leads.
  • Leaving both lines unlocked near a road - a retractable line only stops where you stop it. Lock both before you reach a junction.
  • Grabbing a running line to stop a dog - the cord will burn your hand. Use the brake, that is what it is for.
