The puddle around the water bowl is not your dog being messy

It is physics. A wide open bowl lets water slosh with every lap, so it runs off the chin, down the chest and onto your floor. Long ears drag through it, flat faces push it out in waves, and by evening you are wiping the same spot for the third time. This bowl puts a floating disc on the surface: the disc rises and falls with the water level, and the waves die under it instead of leaving the bowl.

Key Features

  • Floating disc, no splash - the plate sits on the water and follows the level down as your pet drinks, so the surface never gets a chance to slosh over the rim.
  • Dry chin, dry chest - your pet drinks through the opening rather than dipping its whole muzzle, which is what keeps long ears and flat faces from soaking.
  • Slows down fast drinkers - the restricted opening spreads a big gulp over several seconds, useful for the dogs that empty a bowl in one go and bring it straight back up.
  • Holds a full day of water - 51 oz or 68 oz depending on the size you pick, so a single fill covers a working day.
  • Non-slip base - the bowl stays where you put it instead of travelling across the kitchen mid-drink.
  • Comes apart for cleaning - disc, frame and bowl separate in seconds, so the slime line that builds up on a water bowl actually gets scrubbed.
  • Four colors - Blue, Grey, Pink and White, all matte and quiet enough to leave in a kitchen or hallway.

Choosing Your Size

51 oz suits cats, kittens and small dogs, or a second bowl upstairs. 68 oz suits medium and large dogs, multi-pet homes, and anyone who would rather fill it once a day than twice. Both use the same floating disc.

Common Mistakes

  • Overfilling past the line - the disc needs headroom to float. Fill to the mark and the splash stops; fill to the brim and you are back to a wet floor.
  • Leaving the disc in during the wash - take it out. The film that forms on a water bowl collects underneath it, and that is the part pets actually taste.
  • Buying one size for a growing puppy - a dog that doubles in weight drinks roughly twice as much. The 68 oz saves you a mid-day refill.

In the box: 1 x floating water bowl with disc. Tip: give a nervous drinker a day or two - some pets tap the disc first before working out they can drink straight through it.
