Front Dog Carrier Backpack - Breathable Hands-Free Sling for Small Dogs
Worn on the front, not the back - and that changes everything
A dog carried on your back is alone with a view of where you have been. Carried on your chest it sees what you see, and you can feel it breathing and settle it with a hand. That is why small dogs, puppies and anxious dogs travel far better in a front carrier - and why it is the right choice on a hike where a short-legged dog runs out of energy long before you do.
Key Features
- Front-worn design - your dog faces forward against your chest, in contact with you the whole time.
- Hands free - both hands stay available for trekking poles, a bag, or a second dog on a lead.
- Breathable panels - air moves through the carrier, which matters when the dog is pressed against a warm body.
- Adjustable straps - the weight sits on your shoulders and waist rather than dragging on your neck.
- Legs-out fit - a natural position that is more comfortable than being bundled inside a bag.
- Four sizes to 9 kg - S up to 2.5 kg, M 2.5-3.5 kg, L 3.5-6.5 kg, XL 5.5-9 kg.
Choosing Your Size
Size by weight, not by breed. Weigh your dog and take the band it falls into; if it is on the boundary, take the larger size so it can shift position. Above 9 kg, a front carrier stops being comfortable for the person carrying it - use a trolley carrier instead.

In the box: 1 x front pet carrier. Tip: build up in short sessions at home before a long day out. A dog that has only ever been in the carrier for two hours straight will resist it next time.
