A wet dog does not stand still to be towelled. It shakes, it bolts, and the water ends up on the hallway wall. A hand towel only ever dries the part you are holding. This robe wraps the whole dog at once - back, flanks, belly - and stays on while the coat gives up its water. Choosing Your Size
Size by your dog's weight, not by breed name:
- XS - 9 to 17 lb. Small terriers, dachshunds, most cats.
- S - 17 to 28 lb. Cockers, beagles, French bulldogs.
- M - 28 to 55 lb. Border collies, springers, medium mixes.
Between two sizes, take the larger one. A robe that is slightly long still works; one that will not close does not.

Common Mistakes
- Putting it on a soaking dog straight out of the tub - squeeze the worst of the water out of the coat by hand first. The robe finishes the job; it is not a sponge.
- Leaving it on for hours - twenty to thirty minutes does the work. Left on a damp dog all evening, it keeps the coat humid instead of drying it.
- Sizing by breed instead of weight - two dogs of the same breed can be a size apart. Weigh yours.
- Washing it with fabric softener - softener coats the fibres and kills absorbency. That is what makes a towel stop working.

How often should I replace water fountain or bottle filters?
With daily use, replace the filter every 4-6 weeks, or sooner if the water tastes off or the flow slows down. Each filter is made for one specific product: 3-in-1 water bottle filter, USB fountain cartridges and 101 oz fountain cartridges.
